Meeting of Pavel Latushka with the director of Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development in France
15.10.2015 г.On October 14 2015, Pavel Latushka, Ambassador of Belarus in France met at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development of France with Ms.Florence Mangin, director of the Department of Continental Europe.
Mr. Pavel Latushka and Ms. Florence Mangin discussed further development of bilateral co-operation, namely, the organization of meetings of official representatives of the two countries.
Some other topics were touched upon during the meeting such as development of trade and economic cooperation, preparation of the intergovernmental bilateral commission on economic cooperation in 2016, organisation of the meeting of representatives of the Ministry of Economy of Belarus and the Ministry of Finance and Economy of France.
The Ambassador of Belarus informed the representative of the French Foreign Ministry of the development of cooperation between the regions of France and Belarus, particularly, the accomplished meeting between the mayor of Clermont-Ferrand and the vice-mayor of Gomel, the incoming talks between representatives of the Central district of Minsk and Nevers, planned in October, as well as of prospects of cooperation between Minsk and Lyon, Grodno and Limoges, the Partizanskij district of Minsk and Tourcoing, French city Brest and Belarusian Brest.
Ambassador Pavel Latushko stressed the growth of interest in developing cooperation between cities and regions of Belarus and France.
