Pavel Latushka met with the Director General of the French Foreign Ministry

On February 24, 2015 Ambassador of Belarus in France Pavel Latushko met with Nicolas de Riviere, Director General for Political and Security Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Development of France.
During the meeting, the counterparts discussed the prospects of bilateral Belarusian-French relations.
Special attention was paid to the development of dialogue between Belarus and the European Union. There was a discussion of the preparation for the upcoming meetings of Nicolas de Riviere in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus.
In the view of the ministerial meeting in ”Normandie format“ that took place in Paris on February, 24, Pavel Latushka and Nicolas de Riviere exchanged views on the mitigation of Ukrainian crisis. French representative noted the efforts of Belarus to the peaceful resolution of the situation in the south-eastern Ukraine.
